Katelyn To

Katelyn To (Operations Specialist) joined CISLA in 2019 after graduating from college in 2018. She started as the Administrative Assistant before being promoted to her current role as the Operations Associate. Katelyn supports the organization’s operations, human resources, and finances. She also works closely with CISLA’s Board of Directors as the board liaison.

Katelyn grew up in Las Vegas, NV where she spent her summer breaks working as the Receptionist for her family’s window covering business, Polar Shades. She moved to Long Beach, CA to attend CSU Long Beach where she earned her B.A. in International Business. Though her intention was to take her knowledge back home to expand her family’s business, she grew a love for California and decided to stay to explore its opportunities. During her time in college, Katelyn was active in the International Business Association where she served as the Vice President of Corporate Relations and Fundraising. Katelyn was also an active sorority member of Tri Delta where she developed a love for philanthropic work, specifically fundraising for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A little about Katelyn’s personal life, she is the second oldest out of 7 siblings and has 5 family dogs. Although bilingual in English and Vietnamese, she was once able to speak 5 languages (English, Vietnamese, Spanish, French, and Mandarin). She loves trying new foods and dreams of traveling the world to experience global cuisines. In her free time, she enjoys bodybuilding, binge watching shows on Netflix, and playing video games.
