Kaylin Dickerson

Data & Evaluation Manager

Kaylin Dickerson (Data & Evaluation Manager) joined CISLA in 2023. Kaylin is passionate about making South LA communities stronger and creating strong support systems for Los Angeles' youth.

As a student at UCLA, Kaylin was trained in research methods and the multitude of assets and challenges in LA’s communities of color. Alongside her research training, she became a leader in successful programs designed to create opportunity, experience, and exposure for Black and Latino youth of South Los Angeles. Naturally, Kaylin developed a passion for developing evidence-based programs that make an impact on youth’s lives and affect positive change in the communities served. Kaylin specializes in using data and research to increase the capacity and impact of non-profit youth programs. She has supported data collection and analysis at multiple Los Angeles nonprofits, presented research at national conferences, and served as a member in Los Angeles coalitions such as Invest in Youth. She is dedicated to empowering youth, particularly those affected by poverty, homelessness, poor education, and trauma. In her free time, Kaylin enjoys going to the beach, painting, and spending days at the park with her family.
