Michele Guevara
Learning and Development Manager
Michelle Guevara (Learning & Development Manager) joined CISLA in August 2013 and brings over a decade of expertise in program implementation and student case management. As the Learning and Development Manager, Michelle spearheads collaborative efforts to develop and refine CISLA’s comprehensive service model, encompassing whole school events, targeted student groups, one-on-one case management, and site coordination, along with training and curriculum development.
A proud UCLA alumna, Michelle earned her B.A. in Political Science and History. During her time at UCLA, she dedicated approximately three years to mentoring young girls through the student organization Latinas Guiding Latinas. This experience in mentoring and curriculum development led her to CISLA, where she began her journey as a Site Coordinator. Michelle served the Boyle Heights community for six years in this role and further advanced to Site Director for three years.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Michelle enjoys hiking, astrophotography, and spending quality time with her dogs.
