Nancy Arias

Program Manager

Nancy Arias (Program Manager) joined CISLA in 2021, bringing in over 15 years of educational non-profit, youth development, staff development, program design and implementation experience.

Prior to joining CISLA, she worked in the expanded learning field servicing K-12 schools. She collaborated with school administrators, community partners, other key stakeholders to identify the needs of the schools and students to provide quality services with a focus on developing academics, social and emotional, and physical needs through meaningful hands-on, and engaging experiences. She also has experience in implementing the Community Schools model with a focus on college readiness, parent engagement, academic support, and health & wellness. Mrs. Arias’ passion for education flourished when she began working in the field of afterschool. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Adolescent Development from Cal State University of Northridge.  

As a product of afterschool enrichment programs and having the support from individuals who believed in her potential, she is inspired to make a positive impact to our communities by providing them with experiences and resources that will allow them to thrive and find their passion in life.
